Gordon Choice, Lard, Deodorized
Rendered, refined and deodourized pork fat (non-hydrogenated), made with excellent creaming ability and a smooth texture for baked goods. Can be used in deep fat frying applications. Excellent for fish, chips and other fried foods.
Makes a light and flaky pie and tart shell and is also excellent for frying grains and greens.
This is a non-hydrogenated fat with 0.005% naturally occurring trans-fats.
Care must be given during storage and transportation. The product will pick up flavours when stored near items giving off strong odours. Store in a dry area at 20-25°C.
This item should be stored in the dry goods or pantry section of your food service operation.
